Why wine during lunch yes, but water no?
Have you ever wondered if you can drink water during a meal? The answer might surprise you: instead of water, drink a glass of wine ...
Water is neutral, and if you drink a glass of water during lunch, you will dilute the stomach acid, reducing its potency. As a result, your stomach will start producing even more acid, trapping you in a cycle that almost certainly ends with pain, cramps, heartburn, and bloating.

Instead, prefer a glass of quality red wine, which is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. The stomach reacts to it as an aid in digestion. It's important to remember that all alcoholic beverages are acidic and that there is no difference between white and red wine, except in the amount of antioxidants. Antioxidants have a dark-purple color (like blueberries, figs, berries ...) and are responsible for neutralizing free radicals, which can lead to cancer.

Of course, it's best not to drink anything during meals. However, if you can't avoid it, we recommend an alternative to water. If you add lemon juice to water, it will taste acidic but will act as a base in your stomach.

One more thing: practically all doctors agree that 1 deciliter of wine with lunch acts as a medicine.
