How to Lose Weight Without Harming Your Health
Nutritionists have gathered some simple tips for losing weight without the fear of it impacting your health. What's it all about?
Nutritionists and doctors agree that healthy weight loss means not losing more than 1 kilogram per week, and even better, half a kilogram. Monthly weight loss should not exceed 3 to 4 kilograms. This is not only slow but sometimes also difficult to measure, as our weight fluctuates up and down throughout the day...

That's why it's worth following these tips, and eating less than the recommended daily energy intake (calories) in your daily diet. Aim to eat 500 calories less per day.

1. Sleep
Nutritionists agree: without sufficient sleep, your body will not rest or cleanse, and "empty" calories will remain in your system. Therefore, it is important to go to bed no later than 11 PM and get a healthy 8 hours of sleep (without waking up in between) at least 3 days before starting your weight loss diet.

2. Eliminate "Empty" Carbohydrates
Simple carbohydrates quickly enter the bloodstream and give your body energy, but their effect quickly wanes, and the energy fades. Such fluctuations stimulate appetite, making you even hungrier than if you hadn't eaten these carbs. Avoid sweets, cakes, pastries, and even pasta and bread. If you must, choose whole grain products with as little (preferably no) white flour as possible.

3. Green Fibers and Proteins
Make an effort to enrich every meal with proteins and fibers. Both are very healthy for the body, aiding in cleansing and providing many nutrients. Strive to eat as many green foods as possible throughout the day. Green vegetables significantly contribute to proper bowel function.

4. Steps
Lastly, we've saved the most important goal for the end: aim to take at least 10,000 steps a day. You don't have to go to the gym or fitness center (although both wouldn't hurt), just be active, keep moving. This engages your muscles and intestines. The worst thing is for things to stagnate, as unhealthy substances accumulate in such places. Since 10,000 steps is not a small amount, you might not achieve this every day. But that's okay! The important thing is to have this goal in mind and not just lounge around on the couch at home...
