When making kale chips, it's important to remove the central stem, which hardens during baking and ruins the texture of the chips. Additionally, it makes the snack bitter. It's best to cut the kale leaves with scissors. Cut the leaves into 2 to 3 centimeter pieces and drizzle them with olive oil. Mix them lightly to ensure all pieces are coated with oil.
Then, spread the pieces on baking paper and sprinkle them with a bit of coarse salt. Place everything in the oven for 8 to 12 minutes, preheated to 160 degrees Celsius. The baking time depends on the type of kale, so bake according to your preference. Just be careful not to burn the kale.
Once you take the baking tray out of the oven, wait at least 30 minutes for the kale chips to cool down before serving them.
Try it, and you'll be delighted with the taste.
