Fenugreek is a plant that can change your life
Haven't heard of fenugreek? No worries. 90 percent of people don't know about it, and even fewer know about the dramatic changes it can bring.
Fenugreek is an annual herb with light green leaves and small white flowers. The seeds have a slightly bitter taste. After cooking, the taste becomes much more pleasant.

The special thing about fenugreek is that it has a huge amount of iron (one tablespoon of seeds contains 3.7 milligrams of iron, which is 20% of the recommended daily value). It also contains a lot of magnesium, copper, manganese, vitamin B6...

Moreover, several studies have confirmed the medicinal properties of fenugreek. Not only does it alleviate many issues, but it can also cure them.

1. Improves digestion and regulates cholesterol
Fenugreek helps soothe an irritated stomach, aids in constipation, and a range of internal inflammations. Since it regulates digestion, you should consume at least a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds every day. A recent study from India confirmed that diabetic patients can significantly lower their cholesterol and triglycerides with just three teaspoons of these seeds per day (2.5 grams per teaspoon). There have even been cases where patients cured their diabetes after 40 days of regular consumption. Dr. Richard Palmquist from Centinela Hospital in California found that fenugreek slows down sugar absorption in the stomach and stimulates insulin production.

2. Reduces inflammation
Fenugreek alleviates internal inflammations like mouth ulcers, and treats bronchitis, tuberculosis, chronic cough, kidney problems, and even skin cancer and other subcutaneous infections. Modern medicine is rediscovering these benefits, though Ayurvedic doctors have used fenugreek to treat many ailments for thousands of years. Research conducted at the International Immunopharmacology Institute in the USA showed that these seeds could even cure the most severe forms of arthritis. Tests on rats showed incredible results, unlike any other medicine so far.

3. Increases libido, reduces hair loss
Forget Viagra and similar aids when natural ingredients are tastier and more effective in overcoming baldness. The key is that fenugreek helps maintain testosterone levels in the body.

4. Stimulates milk production in nursing mothers
Nursing mothers who regularly consume fenugreek have up to 30 percent more milk. Fenugreek stimulates and cleans the milk ducts, which also has positive preventive effects. Mothers who consumed just one teaspoon of fenugreek per day had 50 percent less breast cancer.

5. Reduces external inflammation
Besides combating internal inflammations, fenugreek is also good for external injuries. It can treat pain and swelling in muscles and lymph nodes, gout, various wounds, leg ulcers, even sciatica, eczema, and dandruff. Using fenugreek is simple: wrap the seeds in a cloth, gently heat it, and then press it directly onto the skin. It's recommended to do this every evening.

6. Exceptional taste
Fenugreek is often used in cooking. It is a common ingredient in spice blends (some call it Indian Vegeta). It is also used as a flavoring agent in imitation maple syrup, and frequently in tobacco products.

7. Helps with eating disorders
Regular consumption can help overcome anorexia. It’s also true that fenugreek can aid in weight loss. The key is that the body better absorbs nutrients, meaning you eat less while getting more out of what you eat.

Usage

You’re probably wondering how to consume fenugreek...

You can put two teaspoons of seeds in 2 deciliters of warm water. Boil for 20 minutes, strain, and drink slowly, in sips.

And an interesting fact: in ancient Greece, fenugreek seeds were so valued that their price was equal to that of gold.
