Heart and vascular diseases often go unnoticed. If you're overweight, smoke, or have a sedentary job, you might not register the problems that arise from cardiovascular issues, which can lead to sudden strokes or heart attacks, potentially fatal. Many cases seem like cardiovascular diseases appeared suddenly, but they didn’t!
Our heart gives us timely warnings; we just fail to notice them!
What to do?
There is a simple test you can use to observe your body. Unfortunately, this doesn’t guarantee that everything is okay, but at least you can be reassured that you haven’t missed the most serious warnings (yet).
The test goes like this: sit on the floor, stretch your legs out, point your toes towards you, and then try to touch your toes with your hands.
If you can do this easily, you can be reassured.
If you find it difficult, take a moment to reflect. The lack of flexibility in your body is an early sign that something might be wrong with your blood vessels or heart. It could be due to a lack of collagen, which disrupts blood circulation. It could be clogged arteries or dysfunctional joints reducing your flexibility. Maybe you've just eaten too much, leading to issues with improper diet. High blood pressure could also be a culprit, which is particularly dangerous for the heart.
There could be more issues.
In any case, repeat this test the next day and try to address any problems. Do this because it’s about your health, after all!
