Breakfasts are very important for the proper functioning of the body, and it’s good that during the day we all use up the energy we get. Therefore, breakfasts do not make you gain weight. At least not directly. But among all the foods, there are also some that heavily burden our metabolism...
Bacon
Bacon is very common, but also very dangerous. Bacon contains a lot of saturated fats and cholesterol, and besides that, it is heavily processed with nitrates, which cause headaches.
Pastry with cheese and butter
You’ve probably already heard many times that bakery pastries contain a lot of carbohydrates, but very little fiber, protein, and other nutrients—so little, that naturally it doesn’t exist like this. Bakery pastries are not nutritious, have no value, and it’s much better to eat nothing than to fill your intestines with food that isn’t really food.
Energy Bars
Energy bars are sugar bombs that do give you energy, but not in a balanced way, and they are nowhere near rich in the nutrients you need. 100 grams of an energy bar is similar to eating half a kilogram of milk chocolate for breakfast. You can believe us—there’s nothing healthy in it.
Time
Time is our greatest enemy, but not in the way you might think. The fact is, bacon was entirely healthy and suitable for breakfast a few decades ago. Bakery pastries were made from wholegrain flour (when flour still had a higher value), and instead of energy bars, we ate completely natural cereals.
How do you know that your breakfast doesn’t have enough energy? If you’re hungry again after two hours, then you’re doing something wrong.
