1. Do not eat when you are starving
If you feel hungry, you need to be careful not to overeat. You should never starve your body, as it negatively affects your metabolism and, on top of that, causes weight gain. Eat when it's time to eat, as only then will you keep your body in excellent condition.
2. After a meal, sit for a while
After a meal, sit for another 20 minutes to give your stomach enough time to digest in peace. Do not immediately continue with sports after a meal, and also do not lie down. Don't go for a walk or start tidying up either. Wait.
3. Let 12 hours pass between dinner and breakfast
Ideally, there should be at least 12 hours between breakfast and dinner, or at least 10. However, make sure there are always at least 10 hours in between, as this means you give yourself enough time after dinner before going to bed, and more importantly, that you slept long enough. Don't forget, a person needs 8 hours of sleep.
4. Vegetables first, not last
All nutritionists will recommend that you start your day with vegetables, as this positively affects intestinal flora. If you end your day with vegetables, it can cause bloating, fermentation, and putrefaction.
5. Drink half an hour before a meal
Diluted stomach acids only reduce effectiveness and prolong digestion. Therefore, you should never drink during a meal. Rather, drink at least 20 minutes before eating.
6. Variety
Eating monotonous food means your body gets the same vitamins and minerals every day, and not others. Variety is also important because such food contains a lot of fiber, iron is very important, and carbohydrates provide short-term energy.
7. Combinations
It is very important to know what you are eating. You can eat proteins with vegetables, fats with vegetables, carbohydrates with fats. The following combinations are forbidden: protein with carbohydrates, protein with fats, protein with other proteins.
8. Do not eat processed food
Processed foods include all instant soups, mayonnaise and other spreads, sausages, sweets, lemonades, sugary drinks, juices, cookies, crackers, and others. All these are slow and silent killers of our health. We will never know what exactly is hidden in these foods.
9. Do not eat hot and cold things at the same time
Remember, the hottest dish should not be above 50 degrees, and the coldest not below room temperature. If you eat colder or hotter, your body uses energy to heat or cool the food, which isn’t good, especially for fats, as they turn into hard-to-digest fat balls that quickly start accumulating under the skin. Also consider that food cools down or warms up by a maximum of 8 degrees on the way from the mouth to the stomach. Anything else unnecessarily burdens your organism.
10. Chew your food slowly
If you chew your food well, digestion will have less work and will be more effective. Try to chew every bite you put in your mouth for at least 10 seconds. You can even count. You will see that it helps.
