Some time ago, American nutritionist Herbert M. Shelton repeated a test first performed a millennium ago by the ancient Roman doctor Celsus. Both asked participants to write down the combination of foods they ate that day and rate how they felt. Shelton had already warned in advance that the combination of tomatoes and cucumbers causes bloating, but when eaten separately, both ingredients are extremely healthy.
Although each organism reacts differently, it became clear after just a few days that there is another combination which is harmful to everyone, and this is called Shelton’s syndrome. This refers to the combination of meat and milk, which also includes all dairy products.
Milk by itself contains proteins and fats, which is a poor introduction to digestion. Namely, when we eat a piece of meat and then drink milk over it, the milk fat spreads so much in the stomach that it coats every piece of food, thus preventing stomach acids from breaking them down. As a result, the body gets fewer vitamins and minerals, and the excess food, even if it’s not actually excess, immediately turns into storage that the body will supposedly process later (but truly never does!).
To generalize: when lactic acid comes into contact with animal proteins, the process of metabolism stops in 74 percent of cases!
This means that dairy products prevent the metabolism of phosphorus and zinc, which are crucial for every immune system, but the most severe effect is on iron, as this directly stops the supply of oxygen to the cells.
But don’t think that only the combination of milk and meat is problematic. Similar issues arise when combining cheeses of all kinds, yogurt, cottage cheese, butter, sour cream... In the best-case scenario, you’ll feel nausea after this combination, maybe even vomiting.
Milk is generally very unique and has similar effects for everyone. Any kind of combining it never turns out well, so never combine dairy products with other foods. Always eat them separately, and make sure at least 20 minutes pass before and after consumption.
So...
Do not combine tomatoes and cucumbers, because they use the same enzymes for different breakdowns, and do not combine animal proteins with dairy, as this completely halts digestion.
At the very least, it makes you gain weight!
