If you knew what pineapple with pepper can heal, you would drink it every day

Pineapple contains a lot of bromelain, an enzyme that reduces inflammation, which is why it’s officially used in hospitals in Germany as a remedy for cough, swelling of the nose and sinuses, as well as for easing the effects of injuries and post-surgery recovery. Pineapple contains 5 times more bromelain than any cough syrup, and it also has a high amount of manganese, a mineral important for the formation of bones and connective tissue. Pineapple is most effective at regulating metabolic processes, breaking down fats and carbohydrates.

A glass of pineapple provides 50% of the daily requirement of vitamin C, so it is very useful against inflammation of the throat, sinuses, and lungs. Several studies have confirmed that in addition to these properties, pineapple also prevents viral infections, prevents colds and the flu, and is much cheaper than pharmaceutical medicines.

In 2010, a comprehensive study was conducted, and its results were published in the journal Der Pharma Chemica. Among other things, they also published a recipe for a universally effective pineapple juice.

To boost the power of pineapple, add to a glass of freshly squeezed juice:
  • 1 tablespoon ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Preparation:

Mix all the ingredients well, and if you want to reduce the amount of mucus in the lungs, add a tablespoon of honey. It’s important to drink fresh juice, not the canned kind.
