Things That Will Wake You Up Better Than Coffee
If you need to cut down your caffeine intake, but feel like you can’t start your day without coffee, you can help yourself with these five suggestions

1. Healthy Meals
For starters, forget about chips, sweets, cookies, and other unhealthy foods. When you run out of ideas for snacks to have while watching TV, try to think of something healthier. Munching on celery or carrots is definitely a better choice. The key to healthy eating is that its effect lasts much longer, and you don’t experience a sudden drop like you do with unhealthy food. Sugar hits your bloodstream quickly, but half an hour later, your energy suddenly drops. You’re hungry again, and you end up eating more junk food. Once you fall into this trap, there’s no help for you.

2. A Glass of Cold Water
Surely you’ve woken up in the morning craving a glass of cold water. Anything, as long as it’s cold and from the fridge. These are signs of dehydration, which is commonly accompanied by chronic fatigue, indecisiveness, concentration problems, headaches… A glass of cold water will boost your metabolism and cleanse your blood.

One more thing … Don’t force yourself to drink water in the morning. Drink as much as you can and as much as you feel like. Your body knows exactly how much water it needs and when.

3. Dark Chocolate
If you want healthy chocolate, make sure it contains at least 72 percent cocoa. If you want a healthy snack that will keep you energized throughout the day, choose chocolate with 85 percent cocoa. Chocolate will also improve your blood profile and prevent various internal inflammations.

4. Beetroot Juice
Once you try beetroot juice, you’ll completely forget about coffee. Beetroot juice is pure and healthy energy. This juice increases the amount of oxygen in your blood, making it easier to think and focus.

5. Foods Rich in Iron
One of the key roles of iron in the blood is to transport oxygen to the cells. A lack of iron causes headaches, weakness, and a slowdown of your entire metabolism. The most iron is found in meat, fish, and also in plants such as spinach, broccoli, cauliflower…

And an extra tip: 6. Don’t Skip Meals
Ideally, you should plan your day with 5 or more meals. This is the only way to control your appetite and your body’s energy levels.
