First, let's look at the ingredients:
- 1 carrot
- 1 apple
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons grated horseradish (of course, you can also use ginger)
- 2 tablespoons of flax seeds (instead of this, you can use 1 tablespoon of coconut oil)
- 1 deciliter of quality red wine
Peel and slice the carrot. The apple should be organically grown. Wash it well and cut it into smaller pieces (with the peel). Use the juice and pulp of the lemon (scrape it out with a knife). If this mixture is too thick, add some lukewarm water and drink it immediately (the juice oxidizes quickly in the air and loses its potency). Drink it slowly.
You can also add 1 deciliter of quality red wine to this juice. This will add important antioxidants to the drink. We must not forget that the wine will accelerate digestion, the lemon will provide alkalinity, pectin in the apple will cleanse the intestines, and beta-carotene in the carrot will improve blood count, vision, skin... Beta-carotene stimulates the production of vitamin A in the body, which becomes soluble only in the presence of healthy fats (provided by flax seeds - you can use any other seeds or nuts instead).
A glass of this drink can even replace a lunch.
As you can see, for every exotic ingredient (ginger, coconut oil), there is a local alternative.
